Become part of our Accounting solution team at Daimler Truck Financial Services.
The department “Finance and Controlling” oversees accounting, reporting and the design and management of financial reporting processes. Our team is specifically responsible for the accounting system used by all Daimler Truck Financial Services entities worldwide, ensuring its governance, compliance with company and local regulations and continuous improvement. Furthermore, we act as a central point of contact for internal departments within Daimler Truck Financial Services GmbH, its subsidiaries, and the central departments of Daimler Truck AG.
For this exciting and challenging area, we are looking for an In-house SAP business consultant specializing in Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) and Business Partner (BP) processes.
THESE CHALLENGES AWAIT YOU- Assist in the development of a new, standardized SAP system landscape for accounting and financial reporting within the Daimler Truck Financial Services (DTFS) Group.
- Customize the Purchase-to-Pay / MM and Business Partner (BP) modules in SAP.
- Govern the Purchase-to-Pay / MM and Business Partner processes within the company.
- Ensure the stabilization and smooth operation of daily business activities supporting the entities already live in case of incidents.
- Contribute to projects aimed at improving process efficiency.
- Analyze and document the requirements of local transactional accounting processes, considering local accounting standards and accounting processes for leasing and financing within local entities.
- Coordinate local process requirements and interfaces in collaboration with IT.
- Implement new requirements arising from internal regulations, standard setters, and regulators efficiently.
- Assist in the upgrade to S/4HANA for the Purchase-to-Pay / MM and Business Partner (BP) modules.
- Provide support to functional experts in the Purchase-to-Pay / MM and Business Partner (BP) processes.
- Prepare internal communications, including PowerPoint presentations, intranet articles, management presentations, etc.
- Develop and enhance support tools (e.g., Atlassian JSM, Jira, and Confluence).

Profil THAT'S WHY YOU ARE A MATCH
- A degree in economics with a focus on accounting/controlling, business informatics or a similar field of study
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Purchase-to-Pay/MM and Business Partner processes (including customization)
- Several years of professional experience in accounting and controlling
- Ideally, additional training in the SAP environment (e.g., SAP certification)
- Experience in project work within an international setting
- Expertise in method, process, and system design for accounting and controlling-related business processes
- Business proficiency in both German and English
- Strong analytical, interdisciplinary and integrative thinking
- Ability to communicate complex topics clearly to various target audiences
- Intercultural competence and teamwork skills
- Experience or knowledge in the financing and/or leasing industry, particularly within Daimler Truck Financial Services GmbH.
